My little brother Billy,my god I can still see you with your little pout and your lovely blonde hair,wearing your Aran cardigan.Only just gone 3year old when you died,you were playing ball outside our house when you went under the lorry to get your ball and instead of coming back out the same way you came out on to the road,the driver of the truck never even saw you,he was never the same after that day god love him.
I remember me and you playing shop in the garden,we'd have leaves and grass and pretend we were selling sugar and tea,then you would take the cut up paper we had as money and run over to Nellie's to buy your favorite cake, a topnut,when she treid to tell you it was'nt real money you would scream until you got your cake.
I also remember you sitting in front of the fire one night when a spark flew out and landed on your leg ,my god you roared,mam put butter on it and gave us toast and tea and we went to bed,me and you shared a room.
Mam still has your ball and one of your shoe's,it came off when you were run over and someone picked it up and gave it to mam,they are both in the cabinet at home,I have only one photo of you taken with me,mam,Ger,Martin but I treasure that photo, I wish you were here today,I'd love to know what you'd look like now,would you still have that pout.
